Canadian Deep Roots Music Festival
Musical roots stretch deep and wide, twining people together in a shared experience of culture and heritage. Members of the Deep Roots Music Cooperative are twined together by the fun of sharing music. We envision an enduring community, celebrating and enriching our culture through music. Our mission is to create meaningful connections between cultures, community groups, artists and audiences by offering music-related events, programs and an annual festival.
Our aim is to present regular concerts, nurture local musicians, support other local arts organizations and worthy community projects and produce the annual Canadian Deep Roots Music Festival.
And while we're at it - have a lot of fun!!
We hope this website will keep everyone up to date with Deep Roots activities. We welcome members and volunteers - so let us know if you want to join in. Visit our Coop office on Main Street in Wolfville, downstairs of The Box of Delights Bookshop, or e-mail us.
The DRMC Board of Directors oversees the scope of activities of The Deep Roots Music Cooperative. Throughout the year we hold concerts, fund-raisers, benefits, community meetings and learning events. We have plenty of opportunities for volunteers to become involved in the ongoing work that the Cooperative is doing. We would love to have more people join us for activities throughout the year.
The Canadian Deep Roots Music Festival is our largest event in the Deep Roots year. The festival is community-based, supported by both The Town of Wolfville and Acadia University and built on countless hours of volunteerism by a stable base of over 100 volunteers, and on in-kind and financial support from virtually all sectors of the Valley community. The festival is held in the fall when Acadia University students are present; collaboration with Acadia enriches the quality of the Deep Roots educational experience.

Emergenza Net International Festival
LA PIU' GRANDE ORGANIZZAZIONE INTERNAZIONALE DEDICATA ALLA MUSICA EMERGENTE
The European and North American Live Festival for Up and coming Bands
Emergenza risponde a questi bisogni:

Miami Music Festival
The Miami Music Festival and its emerging artists' conference return this November with a new and expanded schedule, new venues and more new music than ever. The MMF will again feature acts in a wide variety of genres from Florida, around the U.S. and around the world, performing for the music industry, the press, the local community of music fans and visitors to Miami. In 2010, the festival will add shows in major theaters, two daytime, multi-stage sessions and use of more clubs throughout the city. Working with "Live Miami," a new initiative promoting the city's live music venues, and as the centerpiece of "Live Music Month in Miami," The Miami Music Festival is taking its next steps in support of live musical performance and emerging artists.
